Safety Sport TotoThe constant speed type XS actuators for open-close duty are of modular design. The basic module (driving unit) is a multi-turn unit that incorporates a three-phase electric motor 3x400 V, the main gear, a manual operation, a drive transmission system, a control block and an industrial-type connector. The multi-turn unit represents a self-contained multi-turn actuator but when combined with a linear unit or lever (part-turn) gearbox it makes up a linear or a lever (part-turn) actuator. The XS and X-MATIK actuators for open-close duty differ one from another with a control block as that block is offered in two manufacturing versions: the standard one and X-MATIK. Standard version of control block incorporates travel limit switches, torque limit switches for the overload protection and a mechanical position indicator. The XS actuators are set in motion by supplying the power voltage 3 x 400 V. Control blocks for X-MATIK actuators comprise, in addition, a controller with a thyristor (SCR) circuit for switching the motor on and off as well as a local control panel. X-MATIK actuators are controlled by means of a three-state control signal 24 V DC. As an option, these versions of the control blocks can be equipped with a position transmitter or a pulse generator to provide information that the actuator is in motion. In case of XS and X-MATIK actuators for open-close duty, torque limit switches for the overload protection circuits are set in a factory.
