Actuators 3XI/3XWI (adaptive)

The constant speed actuators of the XI type for modulating duty are of modular design. The basic module (driving unit) is a multi-turn unit that incorporates a three-phase electric motor 3x400 V, the main gear, a manual operation, a drive transmission system, a control block and an industrial-type connector. The multi-turn unit represents a self-contained multi-turn actuator but when combined with a linear unit or a lever (part-turn) gearbox it makes up a linear or a lever (part-turn) actuator. The modulating duty XI actuators may differ in design of their control blocks as the control panel may incorporate the selector switch ‘remote /local control’ lockable with a key and ‘open/close’ switch or may be supplied without such switches. In the latter case, the local control is carried out with use of the programming unit (the handheld setting tool). The control block incorporates travel limit switches, torque limit switches for the overload protection system, a position transmitter and two LCD displays that enable to set up and verify parameters of the actuator. The XI actuators are controlled by means of a three-state control signal 24VDC or an analogue signal 4-20 mA. The torque-tripped limit switches of the overload system in the XI actuators can be set on site within the range of 50÷100% of the rated torque.
