SPECTRO-2 has 2 contrast sensors, allowing it to calculate other parameters.
Devices of SPECTRO-3 series are designed to detect “true-color” (human color reception). Sensors can be used in AC or DC modes, with internal or external light source.
The sensors of the COAST Series (COlor And STructure) are hybrid sensors that comprises two sensors that only are synchronized by the LED ring light but otherwise operate independently of each other. Both sensors can be connected to a PLC or to a PC.
SI-COLO 15 color digital sensor works according to 3-color principle using LED diode as light source. Color sensor parameters can be set using a PC via RS232 interface.
SI-COLO4 31 color digital sensor works according to 3-color principle using LED diode as light source. Color sensor parameters can be set using a PC via RS232 interface.
The frame light barriers of FLB Series are used for the measurement of smallest unguided parts.
Inline sensors of the GLAST series primarily are used for the inspection of highly reflecting surfaces (e.g. stainless steel panels, aluminum sheets, painted surfaces, plastic films) and transparent objects (films, glass plates, plexiglass plates).
GLOSS sensors prioritize narrower detection range, thus making it faster than similar devices.
Gloss sensors RLS-GD-15, R-LAS-GD-15-HP. The sensors are designed for plastic plate and ceramic parts gloss degree measurement. Two measurements are done at the same time – direct reflection direction and diffusion reflection direction.
High-frequency contrast sensors for UV, VIS and IR range.
These sensors should be used where high positioning accuracy is required.
Laser digital light barriers D-LAS operate by using parallel visible laser light. These light barriers are ideal for positioning tasks.
LCC series laser edge detectors (laser copy counters) primarily are designed for detecting and counting magazines or single sheets in imbricated arrangement. Furthermore, these laser sensors are suitable for counting corrugated cardboard boxes, laminates, as well as for counting the number of folds of paper filters (air filters).
Laser fork light barriers F-LAS for complex problems. These light barriers are ideal for positioning tasks.
Fork light barriers of the FIA series primarily are chosen for high-precision trigger applications. They are frequently used in the stamping industry. Because of their compact and very sturdy design they are generally used in rough industry environments.
Laser miniature light barriers M-LAS have very small dimensions and work at distance up to 2 m. These light barriers are ideal for positioning and small object detection tasks.
System is designed to measure width of planar products on conveyor belt. System can be used as a separate module or integrated into production line for process control. It enables to compensate conveyor belt unevenness even if shaft imbalance to axle is present, not affecting measurement accuracy.
If there is no way to measure the product from both sides (i.e. on conveyor belt), one-sided system can be used. In this way the accuracy will depend on evenness of product movement.
Can be conducted without stopping the belt:
- Measure product width
- Detect product curvature
Additional functions:
- Count products
- Measure downtime
- Control processes which influence product width
System consists of following:
- Sensor Instruments high accuracy laser distance sensors
- PLC
- HMI or computer
An integrated polarization filter ensures protection against spurious triggering caused by reflecting objects.

SI-COLO3 and SI-COLO4 series sensors operate by using 3-color-range method.
By means of three light barriers the SI-JET spray jet control systems check the density, symmetry, and cone angle of the spray jet. Choked or incorrectly set nozzles can thus be detected in time. Due to the integrated pressed air facility (at transmitter and receiver side of the fork) these systems are insensitive to dirt accumulation.
Trigger light barriers are mainly used in the field of metal stamping. The TLB series comprises light barriers with infrared light beam (IR) or visible light beam (VIS), in split shape as well as in fork shape (with or without compressed air supply). Characteristic for all light barriers of TLB Series is the external electronics: Pulsating light or constant light amplifier with digital output or analog output (voltage output and current output).
